Product Description:
Gestazyme tablets are specially constructed
to release pepsin, papain, amylase and
betaine hydrochloride in the digestive system
where these factors are most active. The
betaine hydrochloride provides hydrochloric
acid supplementation to ordinary gastric
secretions. The pancreatin (which digests
protein, fats and starches) and the ox bile
extract (which enhances the fat digesting
activity and absorption of fat soluble vitamins
A, D, E and K) are enterically coated for
release in the small intestine.
WARNING: Pregnant or lactating women should
consult a doctor before using any product.
Consult doctor before use if you have or have
had malabsorption syndrome, chronic pancreatitis,
Cystic Fibrosis, if you are taking ANY PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS, including blood
thinners, or daily aspirin, if you have, or have
had, a bleeding disorder or if you plan to have, or have had, recent surgery. Discontinue use and
consult your doctor if any adverse reactions
occur, including gastrointestinal discomfort. NOT
INTENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS UNDER
THE AGE OF 18.
Directions: For adults, take two (2) tablets daily, preferably with a major meal as a digestive aid. Swallow whole. Do not crush or chew. |
